Each rechargeable Safe CigTM Battery is tested and is about 80% charged when you receive it. It is the white part of The Safe CigTM with a LED indicator tip, with approximate use of about 7 smoking hours before needed to be recharged. It is always good to have extra batteries handy. $29.95 for one
