  • Revisiting Success - SafeCig User Testimonial

Posted on December 18, 2011 by Mysti Reutlinger

A few months ago, I brought you a personal story of tragedy inspiring triumph as Emma Ramshaw shared of the losses she had in her life as a result of cigarettes. Knowing she could be just another statistic in the growing epidemic of deaths resulting from cigarettes, Emma made a decision to eliminate tobacco cigarettes from her life.

Emma lived with smokers growing up. As an adult, she followed in their footsteps. When the urgency to quit smoking hit Emma, the number of quit attempts continued to increase; all without success. As the saying goes, "To achieve success in what you desire, you must stop doing things the same way; reaching out to new horizons." Emma found a new horizon in an alternative to cigarettes. While she knew that she would still be satisfying her craving for nicotine, she would be doing so without the 4,000 chemicals found in cigarettes. "It was worth a try." Emma thought.

This week Emma shared an update on our Facebook page. Along with the update, Emma shared the picture featured here. She stated, Continue Reading

  • What is The Safe Cig?

Posted on November 6, 2011 by Mysti Reutlinger

The Safe Cig is the original electronic cigarette company in the United States. Our goal is to eliminate smoke, pollution, tar, and smell from all smokers. Tobacco smoke is deadly with over 4,000 chemicals; at least 70 of those are known carcinogens (cancer-causing agents). Many of our clients are approaching 1, 2, and 3-year anniversaries of being cigarette and tobacco-free. Some of our clients are using nicotine-free refills while others are thoroughly enjoying satisfying their craving for nicotine through one of our five refill strengths; 24 mg, 18 mg, 14 mg, 11 mg, and 6 mg.

We are not selling a nicotine-replacement product. Our product is not FDA approved to be used as a smoking-cessation device. It is an alternative that delivers nicotine without smoke. As with other tobacco products, anyone purchasing either of our electronic cigarette models must be of legal smoking age; 18 or 21 based off rules and regulations of the purchaser's location. We do ship our product world-wide.

We launched with the Original battery and only three flavors to our eCig. In September, 2011, we introduced the Micro and an assortment of flavored refills to our product line. At the end of October, we added the same flavor assortment to the original and will be incorporating five additional nicotine levels to our flavored refill line before Christmas. The Micro is the world's smallest eCigarette. Continue Reading

  • Your Comments are Requested: Proposed Amendment Banning eCigs

Posted on November 3, 2011 by Mysti Reutlinger

We are reaching out to you this morning to ask that you take a few minutes of your time and inform the Department of Transportation about your eCig experiences. The DOT is currently working on a proposed amendment that will ban the use of eCigarettes on all passenger aircraft. These flights will include in-state, out-of-state, and foreign flights. Additionally, the regulation would impose a fine up to $3,300 if any person is caught "smoking" on an airplane.

Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives Association (CASAA) has provided a list of statements and helpful tips that will assist you in making an opposing statement. Continue Reading

  • The Best of the Best; The Safe Cig's Battery

Posted on October 27, 2011 by Mysti Reutlinger

Electronic cigarettes come in a variety of styles, shapes, and flavors. Not all electronic cigarettes are the same. It is apparent in the eCig industry that some names stand far above the crowd in technological advances that create a near-perfect simulation to tobacco and paper cigarettes. The Safe Cig is, by far, the most advanced in technology over other electronic cigarettes on the market.

We feel a responsibility to develop the usability, safety and reliability of these products. Not only are we devoted to creating a world class product, but we actually have it in our hands right now and are making it available to the public. The Safe Cig is the only electronic cigarette company in America that privately funds all of its own research, development and engineering for all of their products.

The technological advances make a world of a difference in the vaping experience. The battery is a powerhouse of technology that creates a vaping experience far greater than other eCigs on the market today. Continue Reading

  • Weighing Costs of Cigarettes and Electronic Cigarettes

Posted on September 30, 2011 by Mysti Reutlinger

    The Safe Cig Saves Money!

Smoking is an expensive addiction. The current average price of cigarettes in the United States is approaching $6 per pack, with some regions of the country noting prices as high as $18 to $20 in gift shops. A pack-a-day smoker spends $2,190 per year on cigarettes at the national average rate.

In the regions of the United States where the cost of cigarettes has reached an alarming $18 per pack, the same smoker can spend $6,570 per year on cigarettes. That is nearly $550 per month, the same amount paid per month on a five-year vehicle loan of $30,000 at five per cent interest. For that price, you could drive Continue Reading

  • Be A Good Neighbor: Education and Respect

Posted on September 28, 2011 by Mysti Reutlinger

Most people are non-smokers. As a vaper it is important to educate those around you who might not fully understand the electronic cigarette. For those who are smoking traditional cigarettes, it is neighborly to respect those who do not smoke. In celebration of Good Neighbor Day, here are some suggestions to build friendship bridges in your community.

    Electronic Cigarette Education

Electronic cigarettes resemble cigarettes in appearance and behavior. Explaining the parts of your e-cig to your neighbor and how they function provides you the Continue Reading
