The Best of the Best; The Safe Cig's Battery

Electronic cigarettes come in a variety of styles, shapes, and flavors. Not all electronic cigarettes are the same. It is apparent in the eCig industry that some names stand far above the crowd in technological advances that create a near-perfect simulation to tobacco and paper cigarettes. The Safe Cig is, by far, the most advanced in technology over other electronic cigarettes on the market.

The technological advances make a world of a difference in the vaping experience. The battery is a powerhouse of technology that creates a vaping experience far greater than other eCigs on the market today.

Inside each battery is what we call a “flow sensor” that powers the entire unit on and off when a user drags on The Safe Cig. Together with our team of engineers, we have developed the most advanced flow sensor available. In the future, it will be used in numerous other products, not just The Safe Cig.  This flow sensor allows the battery to instantly power down when not in use to preserve close to 99.9% of its battery life, yet it is so responsive that when it senses the slightest bit of drag it immediately powers up the refill cartridge to produce a satisfying abundance of vapor.

It’s not easy packing battery life into something as small as The Safe Cig, but we feel strongly that the visual and tactile aesthetic of our product needed to remain similar to a real cigarette. So for this project we have partnered with one of the world’s most renowned battery developers that, with the help of our engineers, have extended our battery life by 50% (more than any of our competitors around the world).  Yes that's correct, 50% more battery life! Our batteries have a 3.7 volt ion lithium pack inside each cylinder that keeps The Safe Cig charged and ready. This is the same type of battery that powers some of the top-of-the-line smart phones we use every day.

The Safe Cig's battery also has something called a “PCB” micro-circuit board. When we were still in the design process of our battery, we thought to ourselves, “Wouldn’t it be great if our battery had some brain power to monitor what’s going on with our new design?” We knew we had to make it work, so we gave The Safe Cig a brain. The micro-chip inside The Safe Cig's battery is loaded with custom software to interact with our hardware, monitoring its performance each and every time a drag is taken. To say the least, we have spared no expense in time and money investing in the future of The Safe Cig.
